Marty Bright, Jonas Holt & Daniel Townes
Marty Bright is a self professed silly billy with positive vibes and has been part of Sydney Comedy Festival: Breakout Showcase, FRESH and Sydney Comedy Festival Roadshow. Most recently Bright performed across North America, appearing at LA’s Comedy Store , New York’s Carolines Comedy Club and the Montreal Comedy Works.
Jonas Holt is not only a gifted comedian, but also writes and sings parodies and accompanies himself on the guitar. If that’s not enough, Jonas is athletic and an active gymnast.
Jonas began his stand-up comedy career in 1995 by winning an impersonation competition thirteen times, following which he was disqualified from entering further competitions in Perth. However, now convinced of his abilities in stand-up comedy, Jonas relocated to Sydney.
In recent years, Holt earned new acclaim by his impersonation of ex Prime Minister Tony Abbott on YouTube’s “The Year of the Abbott”.
International Australian comedian Daniel Townes first hit the Sydney comedy scene with his acerbic, intelligent, and laid-back stand-up style in 2003, and quickly made his mark as one of the country’s best live acts and most sought after comedians. His live performances are packed with killer one-liners, insightful social commentary, and dark and hilarious personal stories.
He’s performed at the prestigious invite-only Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, and won over audiences worldwide with his disarming delivery, dry wit, and cheeky smile: headlining and hosting at comedy clubs throughout Australia, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany, Spain, Ireland, South Africa, Canada, The Netherlands, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha. In 2016 he performed at the Just For Laughs Australia Stand Up Series, filmed at the Studio at The Sydney Opera House for The Comedy Channel, and in 2017 he appeared on the ABC2 Comedy Up Late series at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Cracker Night for Sydney Comedy Festival on The Comedy Channel.
Besides constantly lighting up comedy clubs and festivals around the world, he’s appeared on Good News Week, The Footy Show, The Comedy Channel’s Stand Up Australia and Sydney Comedy Festival’s Cracker Night, ABC TV’s Stand-Up, Comedy Train on Humour TV in the Netherlands, and also hosts The Daniel Townes Podcast, a weekly conversation with comedians from around the world.
